Sigrun Körner, 21.11.1913, Berlin. Graduated from highschool in 1933, studied history, German, geography and philosophy in Berlin, Königsberg, Marburg, Freiburg. Worked as teacher and published many works in the field of animal protection, animal experiments, Christian vegetarianism. Wrote several poems. Became vegetarian in 1952 and later vegan.
