Charlotte Probst, (b. 1931) is a school teacher. She lives on the outskirts of Graz/Austria with her husband (who is also very fond of animals) dogs and cats. Charlotte Probst is the director of the national society "Animal-liberation Austria" and of "Initiative against violence". She was founder and is actually director of the project "Animal protection at School". As a former teacher she has a lot of experience with the youth.

She has published uncountable articles, was invited to the radio, public discussions. Recently her book "Praktizierte Ethik" (ethics put into practise) has been republished.
